Really creepy Finnish art.

According to my knowledge these are from Spa Magic Forrest (Kylpylä Taikametsä), Imatra The Parikkala Sculpture Park, near Russian border.

Imagine to go there in the dark and stumble upon some of these sculptures. I would literally shit my pants.

Helsinki kikötő darabkák. Imádtam a pici halászhajókat.

"Thor’s Battle with the Giants" by Carl Johan Bonnesen, 1926. This colossal sculpture group is currently located in Odense, Denmark. It was originally commissioned by a Danish industrialist who had acquired the island Torø (Thor’s island), a site where sacrifices were made to Thor prior to the conversion of the Danes to Christianity. It took Bonnesen four years to sculpt the group, his hands often bleeding from the work, and it took the founder four more years to cast it in bronze

Bronze. It’s beautiful. It ages well. It lasts.
